Hot Tapping – Saddle

Installing Hot Tapping Saddles are simple and secure. Seals are held in place during installation by steel girder rings, which guard against movement and damage.  In order to prevent the fitting from moving while the plug is being set, Hot Tapping Saddles are constructed with clamping locations.  Install the tapping apparatus, bolt it on to correspond with the torque specifications, execute a hydrotest, and then continue to the operation.  Our Hot Tapping-Saddles may be permanently welded to the pipeline under the right circumstances.  Fittings are made in accordance with ASME code section VIII and fulfill API 6H/6X’s requirements for branch connections on already-existing pipelines or for welding-free plugging operations. If it is not welded to the pipeline, it can be recovered, restored, and put to further use.  They are made to have an excellent hold and are meticulously crafted to lessen the risk of the pipe failing or become deformed. Clamp couplings can be made to withstand any combination of internal, external, and hydrostatic forces. Complete set includes pass-through bolts that interconnect the two couplings.
