Rise Weld-on Repair Couplings

During subsea operations you can welding using Rise Weld-on Repair Couplings.  It is lowered into the sea after being welded to the new substitute extension at the surface.  Divers remove the old riser, insert the new fitting over the pipe that has been cut, and then tightens the bolt and screws to required torque which creates a leak-proof seal without the need for welding.  Additional clamping and force screws are included in the repair coupling to create a seal for high-pressure pipes and to withstand excessive end-pull.
